上記アイリッシュ・タイムズの用例で "coronavirus, also known as Covid-19" は原文ママ。Covid-19は感染症のことを言う固有名詞で、ウイルスの名称はSARS-CoV-2なので厳密には誤用だが、メディアなどではウイルスのことをCovid-19と呼ぶことがままある。学術論文やNature, Scienceなどのガチのメディアではこの誤用は見られない（はず）。
