Curfewは日本語では「夜間外出禁止令」「門限」と訳されることが多く、「夜間」の話に限られると思われるかもしれないが、実際には、時間帯を決めて外出を禁止する法令のことを言う。外出が禁止されるのは「夜間」とは限らない。
